A very large heart, drawn and carved by hand into the sand on the beach at Pointe Venus, on the island of Tahiti.

Created during a quiet moment before sunrise, this image reflects a deliberate, physical act – time spent shaping something simple and ephemeral, knowing the tide would eventually reshape it.
It can be gifted as a Valentine, or shared as a way of saying, “This is where we want to begin” – whether that beginning is now, next year, or simply held as a future possibility.

If you look closely, the fine white line tracing the heart is formed by stones gathered from the beach, adding texture and grounding the gesture in the landscape itself.
